More and more small businesses, webmasters, Affiliate marketers and website, business owners alike are investing in Local SEO ( Search Engine Optimization). I want to talk with you, a little about Local SEO and Creative Search and why so many businesses and website owners, are taking this marketing stride — so damn seriously.
As an example — let’s take a quick look at the most recent (personal) benefits, I’ve received throughout these past few months, with this very blog. This blog was launched on March 27th, 2013. A couple of months after the launch, I had the site set up exactly how I wanted it to be set up. I followed my strict marketing guideline, a guideline created and developed entirely by me and my team.
One month after the launch, I saw approximately $2k ,through affiliate commissions alone. A well thought monitizing strategy, one that I hadn’t originally intended to implement, but did as a last minute type of thing. I wrote an article, showing you some of the things I had done to set up and establish an affiliate marketing, monthly income, so quickly. This website has since increased it’s monthly, affiliate commissions. I won’t say that deriving a consistently solid, affiliate marketing profit(s) is easy to do. I would never deny the fact that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication.
This site isn’t an affiliate based site, in-fact it’s far from anything similar to an affiliate marketing site/blog. You can look upon this site however you’d like. How I see it is totally biased. I am extremely passionate about this site and my career as an SEO and Creative Marketer. I see this site as a reputable “go to resource” for anyone from the average beginner to the elite, who’re interested in learning, as well as those interested in our high profiled marketing services.
Creative Marketing and Local SEO
“My blog is now 7 months old“. This blog has a current monthly “net income” of around $8-9k on average (and is steadily growing). Some of the monthly income is invested into the work that is needed to be done for my lovely clients. To say the least — it’s fair to say that I’ve built a long term, successful business here.
I’ve always believed that “actions speak louder than words“. This analogy was my sole driving force, in the beginning, to build this business online. To use it as a resource — for those interested in me and my Marketing Services, etc. In today’s world, “especially online” — a lot of people talk the talk’, but do not walk the walk. I’m tired of talking, tired of competing with those (in my marketing field) with nothing in comparison with me. I’ve decided to let my blog (my work) speak for me “and me speak through my blog”.
I never, not even one single time, invested by means of marketing my new (this blog) business website by implementing Google Adwords or anything what so ever. I performed my (Obviously) own SEO, local SEO, Social Media interaction, blogging and well… a little bit of networking. Google+ was/is and always will be my favorite social media platform.
I have implemented a bit of SEO. I haven’t had a lot of time to work on my own site’s SEO though, because I’m too busy managing the work of my clients. When I had some free time, I would however use Google Plus to make new connections and tell people about my new blog. That’s all I’ve done and all I’ll ever do, to market my business online. Though the point here is why so damn many small, medium sized to very large businesses — are taking advantage of SEO.
The reason for this is simple. SEO works. This blog is proof of that. Proof of just how well SEO is working in the modern web. This site ranks for hundreds of generic and long tail search terms. Approximately 60% of the total amount of traffic, comes from the SEO in which I had personally implemented. Proof of what I can do for you!

You’ve heard it time and time again. SEO is a good thing. SEO saves businesses and helps to establish successful ones. SEO is the shiz, whatever that might mean or not mean. Then again, not understanding how SEO works, is what’s keeping so many business and website owners from investing into Local SEO/SEO.

Creative SEO is what I refer to, when I’m discussing modern day Search Optimization, and being creative. Creative SEO is similar to Social SEO. I really enjoy being creative in my SEO work!

SEO/Local SEO is a long term process. Then again, there is a not so reliable SEO strategy — the only short term SEO process. If you demand a short term SEO process, an SEO professional who can get your website positioned on page #1 of Google.com — you’re doing it all wrong. The fast SEO thing is often referred to as Blackhat SEO. Stay away from it and beware.
SEO is a long term marketing strategy — the absolute best marketing strategy known to man. SEO might very well take a couple of months to show an impact, but anything that takes a while to achieve, is well worth achieving. When SEO is implemented correctly, your results will last forever.

If your business is new, not doing so great or you just want to make some real improvements, SEO is your best friend. A marketing budget should be readily available for your SEO Campaigns. NEVER minimize your SEO budget. An SEO budget isn’t something to be taken ignorantly. I can’t say it more clear than that. I hope this article has given you some insight and prepared you for success.
